The top of the unit features most of the controls. You get the shutter button
and two extra buttons needed to configure the camera. One is the mode/power
button. It gives you different photo modes to chose fromself; shutter (10s),
single snap shot, continues snap shots (4 images) and the video recording
feature. The second button is Delete, it lets you delete pictures one by one
or format the disk. What also impressed me about this unit is its full length
LCD panel. It displays the battery status, different types of shootings, the
video frame rate, Photo number, REM: memory left in percentage and the busy
status when the image is being saved or deleted. The message icons and numbers
are clean and professional.
The front of the unit features the lens, the
LED light: lights up red when taking a picture or when the camera is communicating
with the PC via USB, the viewfinder and last is the focus ring. The focus
ring lets you chose different capture options depending from where and what
you are planning to shoot. The focus range is from approximately 1.5inch (4cm)
to infinity.
