OK - the original test was done with an Athlon
1.2 GHz CPU - and on WinME, with different drivers, blah blah. This is our first
KT266A review so rather than bore you we give you numbers so you have an idea
how much improvement is possible with an AthlonXP 1800+ and the SL-75DRV2.

Again,
we could have compared the results to anything. Perhaps a Pentium 4 board? How
about the molting of a moth? Seriously, thems big gains there folks. Let's hope
some of the other KT266A motherboards out there are doing this well.
What is especially interesting is that both of these motherboards use DDR SDRAM
memory yet there are obvious improvements in the KT266A chipset that allow for
these improvements.
