Quake
3 Benchmarks
For
OpenGL benchmarking we used the now industry standard Quake3 Arena timedemo's.
Benchmarks were obtained by using the default settings, and then the resolution
changed. Sound was left on.

The Radeon
certainly turns out respectable numbers, breaking the magic 60fps @ 1024x768
quite easily. Bumping up the image quality settings had barely detectable
effects on the speed, the high quality scores are particularly interesting
because 32bit color is used. The colors were vibrant, and image quality
excellent with only a few bilinear filtering problems noticed.
