This is the highest 3D Mark 2000
score I've gotten yet. I got slightly higher scores by raising the core/memory
speeds even more but the artifacting caused by the higher speeds was quite
high. 245/385 is the limit with the card I got for testing. 3D Mark is a
synthetic benchmark and is a good benchmark for comparing your system performance
to another's, but it simply doesn't show all the performance capable from
a configuration like a game benchmark can. You can download 3D Mark 2000

Here the resolutions are all separated.
You can figure out where your gaming preferences fall. I usually play with
a resolution of 1024x768 - but 1280x1024 strains a setup much more and really
brings it to its knees. The performance that the card has in Quake III is
nothing short of stunning. Even with the "Normal" setting at 1280
x 1024 we are pushing 100 fps. 18 months ago people were blown away by video
cards that reached 30 fps and now we are shattering the 100 fps mark. Even
at the tortuous "High Quality" mode we have to get up to 1280
x 1024 to drop the framerate below 90 fps.
