AMD sent another great
CPU for test purposes. Its actually a 1.2 GHz Athlon that is designed for
a 133 MHz CPU bus - but at the standard 100 MHz FSB it becomes an Athlon 900.
I think that is more representative of what a lot of people will be buying/using
soon so I decided to go with that speed instead. Right after I did all my
initial testing the 6.50 drivers were officially released so I had to repeat
the tests. We had been using the 6.31 drivers for so long I was beginning
to wonder if the purchase of 3dfx had made nVidia step down the release schedule
of new drivers for a while.
