Yesterday I received an announcement for the forthcoming bublcam. Whats a bublcam? Head over to
their website and check it out for yourself. I'm hoping we can get one in for review once the product is ready.

This news is about 24 hrs old but I waited to see if there were any issues reported. Luckily it looks like this update should be a go for anyone with Windows 8. What's new? As usual there should be a lot of security enhancements but of note is the return of the Start button. A move back to more...

Apparently I'm not the only one who found that iMessage no longer works in iOS7. Upgrading to 7.02 didn't help either. You did know 7.02 is out right? I suspect an update with a more classic look which also fixes
all the glitches mentioned in this article will be out before too long. As far as...

Just before the release of iPhone 5s Apple will release ios7. Since most of us aren't going to upgrade our phones, tablets, and watches on release day for 5s I think this will be a more meaningful attempt by Apple to hold onto its market share. If you can survive this long video let us know what...

"Apple has been aware of this vulnerability for six months and has yet to patch the exploit in any currently available operating system build." Yikes, expect an update soon I suppose. So much hype with new OS releases to coincide with iPhone 5s probably made this a back burner at Apple. Read...

Quilter officially released their head version of the Aviator amp we loved so much. That amp has become our go to amp for practice and performance and getting a head version should help folks who have been sitting on the fence decide if they want to try it.
Here's a link to the product at...

Looks as though this rumor is conclusive now. Whats the big deal? Biometric security could end up everywhere - from your car door to your front door. Maybe we'll lock someone out of the fridge if they don't do their chores or instead of entering a PIN with your debit card you can have your...

An inside source reported to BGR.com recently about the latest possible features to be available on the Iphone 5s or possibly Iphone 6. Some features may include a fingerprint scanner and a 12 megapixle camera. Who knows if this is true, none of these features have been confirmed and we are...

As bits and pieces of the news of the forthcoming iPhone keep coming in we now have a proposed release date. The release date for 5s seems about right - perfect for a holiday sales push, the release of the new iOS 7, and coincides with all the hardware news we've been seeing. What doesn't seem...

Sony has already pulled this firmware update from its site until they sort out the problem. This is why I usually wait a week or so before doing a firmware update.

One of the most distressing news about the Xbox 1 before its release was that the system would not play used games. Some sites have said it will then I found
this article, which if it is correct, means it will but at a cost for each user. If Microsoft wanted to give Sony a major selling point...

We've seen tons of conjecture about the specs of the new Xbox tentatively called 720 by fans. We'll see the unveiling tomorrow but in the meantime here's
a positive article on the state of gaming in general. Expect much more GPU and CPU power in the new machine as well as Blu-Ray What may be...

Interesting read here from the LA Times. One thing that the article doesn't point out is that smartphones have more power/usefulness for a similar price.

Interesting idea - a ring as the remote. Can't wait to lose that remote though. Guessing that the opening price of $1500 makes this product have a great price point and the add on tablets (that may interact with the on screen content) could make viewing very different.
Check it out here.

Some interesting stuff in this short article but the most significant is that iOS 7 is running behind schedule. Apple tends to release a new OS with new phones and then make it available as an upgrade a couple of weeks later for older hardware users. This all affects the next iPhone release...

Currently Windows 8 isn't selling well for old hardware users who normally upgrade their OS after MS releases one. Add to that the fact that browser usage is way down for MS.
Now comes this story which may bolster IE against its competitors.

The idea of trying to watch Facebook videos or read e-mail on a watch just doesn't appeal to me. I stopped wearing a watch a few years ago just because quite literally there's a clock around me at all times - my phone, computers at work, on the walls, etc. Now I'm supposed to be web connected...

Here's a neat short article for adding wireless charging. Take note that in one photo the copper tape on the battery connectors looks dangerously close to each other - if you can't separate them more then add an insulator in between them. Once you close the case the tape could touch and short...

Atari has a pretty interesting catalog - perhaps this bankruptcy can produce some energy? No telling but at one time Atari was the 800 pound gorilla of the gaming world.
